Melbourne now has Australia’s biggest lolly shop with candy from around the globe.

Tom’s Confectionery Warehouse opened in Melbourne’s Highpoint Shopping Centre on 11 November.

There are more than 30,000 different lollies available in many countries, including the United States of America, the UK, and New Zealand.

Food blogger @nectoriouspapi revealed that there were many different KitKats available, including one with churros.

He told his followers, “It is a fun place. Go there and have a good time.”

In the magical Candyland, there are also characters from The Simpsons, as well as a tyrannosaurus that roars and moves.

Vlogger @pink_panters_gaming said he had to wait for 25 minutes to get inside the store the day after it opened.

As soon as you entered, the confectionery was everywhere. “Whatever you can think of, there’s something in the pick n blend section,” he stated.

In a world-record attempt, the store hopes to break the record for having the largest pick-and-mix section. It boasts over 1000 sweets.

The human claw machine is the main attraction of the shop. Both children and adults enjoy it.

The claw is 3.5 meters high and looks like a flying fox swimming through a pool full of sweets. The public is allowed to take whatever they can get their hands on.

Tom Jeanes opened the first Tom’s Confectionery Warehouse in Brisbane 40 years ago. Adiel B. Karmona purchased it after he died in 2021.

He added, “Our new Highpoint Store – is one the largest lolly shops on the planet – We have thousands of different sweets, chocolates and other sweets from around the globe, we continue growing & innovating.”

“We’re more than a lolly shop. We want Tom’s Confectionery Warehouse to be a place to inspire anyone who walks in our doors to add some fun to everyone’s everyday lives, whether they are young or old. A place where you can expect to find surprises.

“Tom’s motto is always come for the experience that we offer and the candy as a bonus.”
